PE and Sports Premium
The PE and Sport Funding has been allocated to all primary schools in England to improve the provision of PE and sport in school.
The money must be used to fund additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport and encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles
This funding enabled Broke Hall Primary School gain the Bronze, Silver and Gold Sainsbury’s School Games Mark. The Mark is a Government-led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community.
For full details of how the PE and Sports Funding is allocated in school along with the impact of last year's spend, see our PE and Sports Funding Strategy below.
In Year 5, all pupils go to a local swimming pool for swimming instruction. Information about the numbers of pupils who meet the National Curriculum attainment targets for swimming can be found on the PE and Sports Funding Strategy.
