We encourage our children to make healthy food choices and ask that packed lunches do not contain sweets, chocolate bars, nuts or peanut butter.
A point of safety: No glass bottles please.
Universal Infant Free School Meals
Since September 2014 the government has paid for all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 to have a school meal every day of the year.
Free School Meals (Pupil Premium)
The government provide a premium payment to schools to assist children from lower income backgrounds. This payment ensures that those eligible children continue to receive a free school meal in Years 3 – 6. However, the payment also provides further benefits for those children and can be applied for whatever year group your child is in.
If you think your child might be eligible please follow the link below to Suffolk County Council’s webpage. Every step of the process is carried out confidentially and discreetly.
The money the School receives in this way pays for greater support for each child and is a boost to the school budget. Your support in this matter is greatly appreciated!
Allergies and Dietary requirements
Allergen information for the new school menu is available by request from the school. Please click here to see the Allergens for our food.
It is important to let the school know if your child has specific dietary requirements or is allergic to any foods. We will can then make sure that they do not choose the wrong items from the menu.
