Times Tables Rock Stars

When it comes to times tables, speed and accuracy are important. Times Table Rock Stars is a fun and challenging programme designed to help children master their times tables.

Children are explicitly taught times tables in school and children are encouraged to practise these at home, though methods including games, songs, chants and TTRS.

In Year 4, children complete a National Multiplication check, where they will answer 25 multiplication questions up to 12x12. For each question, children will have 6 seconds to answer. The results are reported to the Department for Education, but there is no "pass mark" for the children.

All children from year 2 (in the Spring term) will have been given a login for the website by their class teacher.  If your child is having difficulty logging on please speak to their class teacher.

Children in Upper Phase compete to win weekly certificates given out in Friday’s celebration assembly. These are awarded for biggest improvements in accuracy, speed, coins earned and correct answers.
